How do I sign into SwiftKey Cloud?

Firstly, please ensure you are using SwiftKey version 4.2 (or later). To find out which version you are using:
  1. Go into SwiftKey Settings (either by tapping the SwiftKey icon in your apps list, or by long pressing the SwiftKey logo in the bottom left corner of the keyboard)
  2. Tap 'About SwiftKey' (Under ‘Information’)
If you are using an earlier version of SwiftKey, you should be able to update for free. Log in using the same account and app store that you used to purchase SwiftKey originally - go to "my apps" and the latest version should be there for you to download.

Signing up during installation:

There is the option to sign up to, and enable SwiftKey Cloud as part of the installation process. After completing the first three steps of the installer, you will be given the option to sign up to SwiftKey Cloud. To complete this, tap ‘sign in with Google’ and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you don’t wish to sign up at this stage, just choose ‘not now’. You can always sign up later from within SwiftKey settings.

Signing up from within SwiftKey settings:

Open SwiftKey settings - either by tapping the SwiftKey icon from within your device applications, or if you are using SwiftKey as your keyboard, long press the SwiftKey logo on the keyboard.

Then tap ‘SwiftKey Cloud’ or the top message of "Enable SwiftKey Cloud" and follow the onscreen instructions.
